Creative Brand Fanner...this IS what it is all about. I applaud Jeffrey Phillips (all Jeffrey's must think alike!!!) although I take offence at his line..."I try to take a trite concept, like coloring inside the lines, and turn it into something more insight"! Coloring Outside the Lines is anything but trite when you understand the courage, the willingness to take a risk and the awesome responsibility that comes with innovation. I speak around the world to organizations who are just waking up to the idea that to be competitive in today's environment, it is going to take outside-the-box thinking to make a difference. It is just frustrating to come to the realization that SO many organizations only pay lip service to the concept. I let them off the hook a little by explaining that it's OK to color outside the lines...as long as you don't fall off the page! It is not some pie-in-the sky concept...it means survival in business today. Congrats on posting this blog for YOUR readers.
Jeff Tobe
Author: Coloring Outside the Lines
www.JeffTobe.com
